About EchoEdu
EchoEdu is an audio-first learning platform designed to make education more accessible for young adults who benefit from a slower, simpler approach to learning.
We work primarily with learners following vocational and practical pathways, including qualifications such as City & Guilds. EchoEdu is designed to support young adults with learning difficulties, as well as others who find traditional, text-heavy learning environments challenging or exhausting.
Our content is delivered through short, spoken explanations that reduce reading demand and cognitive load. Learners can listen at their own pace, replay content as often as they like, and engage in ways that fit around work, training, placement, or daily life.
EchoEdu is built around a small number of clear principles:
Audio-first, low-effort learning
Spoken content allows learners to engage without long periods of reading, complex interfaces, or sustained concentration.
Access before outcomes
EchoEdu is not a diagnostic tool, a monitoring system, or a replacement for teaching or support services. It is designed to reduce barriers to access, not to assess, track, or judge learners.
Privacy by design
There are no accounts, no personal data collection, and no tracking of individual behaviour. Learners can use EchoEdu freely and privately.
Simple, calm design
The platform avoids unnecessary stimulation, notifications, or pressure. Engagement is optional, self-paced, and entirely under the learner’s control.
EchoEdu is multilingual and designed to be used flexibly across a range of learning contexts. It can be accessed independently by learners, or used by colleges, training providers, and organisations as part of a broader learning environment.
Our aim is not to push learners to do more, faster — but to make learning feel more achievable, manageable, and humane.
Join the Revolution in Vocational Training
EchoEdu is currently being developed in partnership with learning providers.
